The Under 14 Deans marsh / Birregurra combination finished the season with a great win over finalist Otway in front of a large partisan crowd. It was the Junior Rats first win of the season. Louie Melican (32) and Jack Melican (23) carted the bowling attack to all points of the ground. Special mention to Zac Day, Tom Wheadon, Zac Zydbel, Lloyd Phillips, Luka Brown and Liam Butterworth who all batted well to ensure the victory. Roy Armistead, Josh Weatherhead & skipper Jessie Steinholdt were solid contributors.

Thanks to Peter Bracken and Marshall Goddard who had crafted a well drilled unit by the seasons end. A total of 17 players have played throughout the season. The fielding has improved enormously with all the lads 'wanting the ball to come there way'. There are six guys that will step up to the Under 16's next year and it is hoped that the Club will be able to recruit  well to field two junior sides.

Thanks to the parents who have assisted on practice nights and game nights. Thanks to Megan Day for scoreing throughout the season. Thanks to Udi from Otway Prime for his culinary delights during and after the home games and finally to all that attended the festivities that are Friday night home games to creat a carnival atmosphere.
